Identification of Antibiotic-Producing Isolates from the Soil of Pesantren Darul Aman Gombara, Makassar

One source of antibiotics-producing microorganisms that are now widely used as a treatment for infections comes from the soil. Soil is an excellent medium growth and development various microorganisms. The search new antibiotics currently urgently needed, because their use not following instructions, causing disease resistance. This study aims to get antimicrobial-producing microbial isolates can inhibit test microbes identify type isolates. first stage isolation was dilution soil sample 10-1 10-5 using method pouring on Nutrient Agar (NA) Potato Dextrose (PDA) medium. It carried further testing antimicrobial activity against several out. results got 4 bacteria fungi with different identification each isolate. In microbe, Escherichia coli gave were IB1, IB2, IB3. Staphylococcus aureus bacteria, isolate produces IB3, IB4, IJ2, Meanwhile, fungus Candida albicans inhibited by IJ1, IJ3 IJ4.
